The sun was shining bright as we welcomed attendees for a wonderful day of networking aboard Ambassador’s cruise ship, Ambition, earlier this week. The second ship in the Ambassador Cruise Line fleet, this smaller vessel is no less impressive than their flagship Ambience, which we had the pleasure of touring last year.
This year we were joined by an array of great Essex businesses who were excited to experience for themselves all of the fantastic facilities provided on board. There were plenty of opportunities to network in comfortable and stylish surroundings, before a guided tour of the ship culminating in a delicious 5-course lunch in the Holyrood Restaurant!
Once everyone had arrived, they were welcomed by Essex Chambers of Commerce CEO, Denise Rossiter who was delighted to reveal to attendees that our own flagship, the Festival of Business, will return after this year’s success at Chelmsford City Racecourse.
Attendees then heard from Ambassador’s Chief Marketing Officer, Gordon Nardini, who provided an insightful overview of the ship. Gordon also exclusively announced their 2025 festive events, a pre-sale notice for our Members three whole weeks ahead of the public launch!
On the guided tours, visitors viewed the brilliant facilities onboard including on deck hot tubs, swimming pools, multiple bars, restaurants, amazing spa facilities, gym and a theatre. We were also able to explore the range of fabulous cabins to give everyone the complete Ambassador experience. Some of our attendees had never been on a cruise ship before, so this event was a great opportunity for them to get a feel for holiday life on the sea.
