Our attendees braved the chilly weather but soon warmed up with a delicious festive buffet before taking to their heated bays for a fun and friendly competition. Incorporating networking with the interactive driving range was a great opportunity for our guests to break the ice with teammates from a mix of other businesses.
Essex Chambers’ Operations Director, Lisa Collins, welcomed players to our last physical event of the year. She looked back on the successful year we’ve had at the Chambers, including our biggest ever Festival of Business and announced that sign up for opportunities at next year’s Festival will be launched on our website in January. Keep an eye out for when it goes live!
Lisa also revealed a few of the exciting opportunities we have available for our Members at the start of the new year including our Networking Tours with Rega Research and Penguin Random House.
Not only was this event a great end of year celebration attendees also had the chance to win some amazing prizes and support a worthwhile cause with the culmination of our Charity Raffle supporting our nominated charity, Mid & North East Essex Mind. We were thrilled to be joined by Julie Arthur, Corporate & Partnerships Manager from the organisation, who sold tickets and facilitated the draw.
We are continuing to support MNE Essex Mind as our Lisa joins our CEO, Denise Rossiter, in a sponsored skydive. You can show your support for their bravery on our Just Giving page.
Thank you to all the team at Topgolf for your brilliant hospitality and providing a unique networking experience. The team also generously offered each guest a limited membership card and free game voucher so the fun can continue!
We’d like to thank everyone who attended this and all our events this year. The Chambers couldn’t do what we do without the amazing support from our business community. We look forward to welcoming you to many more events in 2025.
