Essex Chambers of Commerce are delighted to be working with Network Rail to bring you Supply Chain opportunities, informative events and regular updates.
Network Rail owns, operates and develops Britain’s railway infrastructure. That’s 20,000 miles of track, 30,000 bridges, tunnels and viaducts and the thousands of signals, level crossings and stations. They manage 20 of the UK’s largest stations while all the others, over 2,500, are managed by the country’s train operating companies.
Network Rail’s extensive supply chain network plays its part in helping them run a safe and efficient railway.
They spend over £7bn per year on their supply chain, 98 per cent of which is with British companies.
